Sourcing & Buying Made Simple

You are free to purchase your cabinetry, appliances, and worktops from any supplier. The design remains fully independent and built around what’s best for your home. If you have a preference for a particular supplier, please let us know in advance — especially for modular systems, as many suppliers have their own specific cabinet sizes.

Preferential Rates

Through trusted trade partners, you may benefit from preferential rates where applicable, resulting in:

  • More competitive cabinetry pricing

  • Improved appliance rates

  • Specialist worktop fabricators at excellent value

These savings often offset the design fee entirely.

Buying Support & Coordination Fees

If you would like The Designary to handle procurement coordination — preparing specifications, liaising with suppliers, and assisting with order placement — a design/specification fee may apply.

This fee reflects the time, expertise, and attention to detail required to:

  • Ensure your design is executed accurately

  • Coordinate cabinetry, appliances, and worktops

  • Recommend and liaise with experienced installers

All supplier pricing is provided directly to you, and this fee is separate from the cost of products or installation.

Agent Support (Optional)

If you’d like additional support, The Designary can:

  • Coordinate quotations

  • Check measurements and technical specifications

  • Prepare final order details

You always pay suppliers directly, keeping responsibilities simple and clear.

Trusted Installers

You may appoint your own kitchen fitter, or The Designary can recommend experienced installers familiar with working from detailed design specifications. Installation contracts are always directly between you and the fitter.

Appliance & Supplier Guidance

Guidance is entirely impartial and based on genuine experience with premium brands including:

Gaggenau, Bora, Miele, Sub-Zero Wolf, Liebherr, Siemens, Quooker, Neff.

Support includes:

  • Appliance specification

  • Integration and layout

  • Suitability for your lifestyle and cooking habits

  • Balancing performance, aesthetics, and budget

Furniture Proposals & Selection

Recommendations range from bespoke British makers to respected German and Italian systems. Design considerations include:

  • Layout and functionality

  • Style and detailing

  • Correct scale and proportions

  • Materials, colours, and finishes

  • Long-term durability and value

Each option is assessed to ensure it complements both the kitchen design and the wider interior.
